On the Bible...

I have written a love letter to you.   Like any true love letter, it comes from my heart.  I have filled this letter with the true stories of how I have displayed my love for you through the years.  Through this letter, I am showing you that I want to continue to display my love for you and share with you my hope for our future together.   

Close your eyes and think about someone who you care a lot about.  This person is a part of your everyday life, right?  How did they become a part of your everyday life?  Do you talk to them all the time?  Did you take the time to learn things about them?  Did you share things with them about yourself?  Talking about the intimate details of your life is important if you want to develop a relationship aren’t they?  

Well, your relationship with me isn’t any different.  More than anything I want to be closer to YOU!   But. as in any relationship, you must do your part to keep our relationship healthy.   You must spend time with me, getting to know me.  This letter, My Word, the Bible,  is your way of getting to know me better.  Start spending some more time with my word and in prayer and you'll find us growing closer every day.  I promise!
